MASHUP® Video Submission Information
- Within 60 days of completing your MASHUP® Certification Workshop, you must submit three videos at your earliest convenience.
- Your videos will be scored by an evaluator within 7 days of you submitting them. That evaluator will then contact you to review your videos with you on a conference call. Once your call is complete and we already have your basic group fitness or personal training cert, a specialty training cert or a copy of a related degree (was kinesiology, exercise physiology, physical therapy) on file, then we will email you a certificate of completion with your CECs for ACE, AFAA, and NASM..
*For review only - Please do not fill out.
- Upon passing the course (attending the certification, submission of videos and completion of your conference. call) you will receive your CECs for ACE, AFAA, and NASM via email. Below is information for capturing video and submitting videos.
- While coaching a group (min. of 2 people) of volunteers, friends, or live class at a gym, the coach must capture video of:
One 15-minute SPRINT workout,
One 15-minute TEMPO workout
One 15-minute segment of an ENDURANCE workout (typically AS since it is the first segment and would naturally include the introduction) even though ENDURANCE can only be taught in a 45-minute class
- Longer videos may be submitted for convenience but is not required and you may have more difficulty in sending it digitally with more data.
- There must be a minimum of 2 participants present for your demo workouts.
- After teaching each 15-minute segment, before you turn the video off, clearly state what you would anticipate doing next if you were teaching a 30 min. workout or a 45-minute workout (for your ENDURANCE segment this is very different since it is only a 45-minute class).
- The coach may use any recording device as long as the file is not blurry and can be uploaded to our video submission form.

- Videos are evaluated within 7 days of submission and a conference call will be scheduled with the coach to review the evaluation.
- If the coach does not receive an 80% or greater on the evaluation, they will have 60 days to resubmit one 15-min. video.
- If the coach does not pass both the written exam and the video exam the first time, they can attend a second certification workshop for free and then retest and resubmit new videos.
